Hace tan sólo una década se afirmaba, con toda razón, que en Colombia había más conservatismo que Partido Conservador. Hoy, gracias a la aplicación fidedigna de la mayoría de los postulados por parte del Presidente Uribe y a la inmejorable visión y gestión del Dr. Carlos Holguín Sardi como presidente de la colectividad, podemos afirmar que en Colombia existe un Partido Conservador lo suficientemente fuerte y visible para continuar encauzando el talente conservador, que yace en la mayoría de los espíritu colombianos.
